WHAT IS PCM?
PCM or People’s Choice Movement was born as a response of the lay people to the Church leaders’ call for the laity to get involved in politics. It has become a national movement that aims to help the electorate choose God-centered, competent, dedicated and law-abiding servant-leaders.
PCM works towards a vision to have a Philippines run by competent, dedicated and law-abiding servant-leaders who will govern the country in accordance with God’s teachings and the principles of good governance where people are enlightened, empowered and live in comfort, dignity and peace.
We want to:
We want to:
- To develop an enlightened and empowered citizenry who will elect true servant-leaders for our country and will join and advocate just causes for the country;
- To educate, train, and mold the youth of our country to become responsible citizens of our country and become leaders of our government and society;
- To search for, develop, select and support competent, dedicated, righteous and law- abiding leaders so that we can help them be elected into public office.
IN THE BEGINNING...
PCM had its beginnings from an earlier effort called Philippine Movement for Transformational Leadership (PMTL). The first “People’s Primary” was conducted on March 15, 2019 just before the May 2019 elections. It was participated by more than 100 leaders from different faith-based organizations in the country.
After the 2019 elections, the work of capacity-building and educating our electorate continued with the support of a core team of dedicated members.

Our Dream Philippines
We dream of a Philippines that is beautiful in its march to development and progress,
where there is enough for everyone and no Filipino is left behind,
where every family lives in comfort and dignity,
a country that seeks prosperity for all and not only for a few.
We dream of a country where love and solidarity are the highest values,
where people live as one family and one community,
where our love for one another is our strength,
and our best contribution to humanity for a better world.
We dream of a nation led by faithful servant leaders, who are truly for the people;
a country where all people are equal before its laws,
where the government strengthens the weakest and controls the excesses of the mighty.
We dream of a society where dreams are possible, however lofty they may seem;
where every child has genuine hope for a beautiful future,
and may attain the fullness of life as he or she conceives it to be;
where we are a family of people whose sons and daughters, wherever they may be,
will be proud to call our society their own.
We dream of a Philippines that can bring out the best and the loftiest in our people,
so that the Filipino may enrich mankind and ennoble the world,
so that our country may become a light to and a hope for humanity,
and so that the Filipino may become truly great and respected,
not only in the eyes of this world, but more so in the eyes of our Creator.
This is the country that we, the Filipino people, deserve to have.
To this end, we will dream and toil. We will seek and pursue.
